CASTING CALL
We are excited to begin production on our latest film production. ‘CRADLE OF MINE’ is a short horror pilot/concept that we are producing with the intention of garnering enough attention to further produce it into a feature film. The production will take place over 2 days in the Midlands area, and all roles are PAID.
MIDLANDS FILM ARCHIVE
We are proud to launch a brand new platform, The Midlands Film Archive. The Midlands Film Archive is a showcase of films made by talented filmmakers living or originating from the Midlands, UK. Midlands-based filmmakers are scattered far and wide across the reaches of the internet. With so many great examples of storytelling available, we decided to help celebrate that talent by putting the best of them in one place for you to enjoy.
CREATE CENTRAL
Daniel Alexander, Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders), Debbie Isitt (Nativity Film’s), Natalie Griffith (CEO Identity Spark) Neil Duncanson (North One TV) and Ed Shedd (Chair) today announced our new Industry Screen Body #Createcentral where we’ll be working together to develop the screen industry in the West Midlands. Training
We have just launched our brand new training series Beginners Guide to Advanced Filmmaking (BGAF), designed to equip filmmakers with practical hands on training in a variety of production areas. Our training follows on from the success of providing a number of workshops over the years to a variety of companies including BFI, BBC Academy, London/Birmingham City Council.
Film Tips

BAME Filmmakers
This is our second year running our film training course in partnership with BFI, BBC & Creative England. We take 6 filmmakers & commission them to make their own films with the support of industry pros.
